JULY RIDERS OF THE MONTH

Peter has been with us for ages and is a member of our admin team. He does loads of behind the scenes work with the website, organises the ZRL, leads in ART Attack and races in all of our events. It’s fair to say Pete has given up hours and hours of his time for the benefit of the team. He’s also improved hugely as a racer. His recent power output puts him firmly in the A cats and I’ve seen his improvements over time first hand from racing with him in the Mad Monday series. He’s a genuine inspiration to anyone who thinks they are struggling in a particular Category and proof that through application and effort you can continue to get better and better.

I don’t have much personal experience with Jackie other than riding with her in an ART Attack event where she delighted the rest of the group by taking short cuts through the scenery and the occasional pirouette. She is the current Zwifterions captain for the TTTs and I have had personal messages from our ladies telling me how Jackie would be perfect as rider of the month. ‘She turns up every week without fail. She is consistent and inspirational each week.

I love how she will enter every event to represent ART. She is passionate about ART and this has been a long time coming. I can not recommend her enough’. ‘Jackie is my inspiration ’. ‘She races week in week out, and was often at the back on her own, but stuck with it for points for the team’. ‘She’s always really encouraging to all in the group chat & was mega brave when she had that IRL bike crash recently’.
