Your November riders of the month, Darren Rhodes and Jo Hussey!
November riders of the month are Darren Rhodes and Jo Hussey.
Darren is an absolute legend in the ART team and was our first person to really embrace the technology to advertise and share the teams exploits to a bigger audience. I lost track of all his media malarkey as he went from podcasting to YouTubing and I believe his is even known to some as Q. This is not to take anything away from his capabilities as a racer in his own right. An absolute stalwart of the team and glad to see him back involved after a longish work related break.
Jo has been involved with our ladies teams for quite a while now too. I seem to remember she was invited into the team by her husband who was one of our early flying machines when the team first started. I think it’s safe to say, Jo has overtaken Rob Hussey now but there have been glimpses of a return recently. The Hussey crown is still up for grabs. Kath also adds ‘Jo is another long standing member of ART who races week in week out achieving great results for the team. When I hear the question “How long is the wait this week Kath?”, I know she’s in the pen & all is well! Jo is the glue that holds the TTT team together & her encouragement each week is appreciated & valued by the whole team.’
